American 3M to invest $146 mln in new pharma facility in Wrocław

3M, an American conglomerate, is investing $146 million in a new
bio-pharmaceutical filtration equipment facility in Wrocław. The
expansion will lead to the creation of 60 new jobs. The investment aims
to improve access to essential filtration devices for
bio-pharmaceutical companies and facilitate the production of advanced
medical preparations.
The company offers deep-bed filters, particularly their Zeta Plus deep filtration technology, which plays a significant role in filtering cell-based therapeutic preparations. With over 30 years of presence in Poland, 3M operates four production centers and employs over 4,200 people in the country.
