Anwim to invest PLN 1.5 bln in charging stations across its Moya chain

Anwim, the owner of the Moya fuel station network, has announced ambitious development plans that involve expanding the existing network of stations and investing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The company aims to have up to 800 fuel stations and over 4,000 charging points by 2030, representing a significant step towards the country's energy transformation and the accelerated development of the electric vehicle market.
As part of their new strategy, Anwim aims to create a dense network of electric vehicle charging points, including both Moya stations and locations beyond them, to provide convenient access to charging infrastructure in different regions of the country. Owners of electric vehicles can expect access to around 1,000 charging points by the end of this year.
Additionally, Anwim plans to open 50 new points
each year to maintain the network's rapid expansion. The company intends
to allocate over PLN 1.5 billion towards development over the
next 5-7 years, with a significant portion dedicated to realizing their
green strategy. These investments will be financed through both internal
funds and external sources. While Anwim recently commissioned BNP
Paribas experts to review strategic options for the company, including
the potential sale of their network, final decisions have not been made.
