Asseco earnings beat forecasts as sales rise
Asseco Poland reported second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of PLN 201.2 million, above the PLN 185.2 million analyst consensus. Revenue reached PLN 4.85 billion, compared with expectations of PLN 4.57 billion. EBITDA totaled PLN 769.9 million against a PLN 731.4 million forecast, while operating profit reached PLN 570.1 million. The results, published Thursday, showed growth across the group’s Polish operations and its international software businesses.
First-half revenue totaled PLN 9.3 billion, including more than PLN 7.1 billion from proprietary software and IT services. Operating profit rose 38% to PLN 1.1 billion, while attributable net profit increased 52% to PLN 430 million. Foreign markets generated 86% of sales. The Asseco Poland segment increased revenue 17% to PLN 1.3 billion, supported by public administration, healthcare digitalization and long-term banking contracts and projects. Formula Systems revenue rose 18% to PLN 5.6 billion.
