Atlas buys Dębica factory from PPG
Polish building-materials group Atlas has acquired a factory in Dębica from PPG Deco Polska, taking over production and warehouse infrastructure at the 27-hectare site. PPG is winding down operations there as it consolidates Polish production and distribution in Wrocław. Atlas owns the facility, but handover is expected by March 2027. The company plans to begin production three to six months later and hire about 100 people within a year.
Atlas intends to use Dębica mainly for export-oriented façade plasters, ready-mixed fillers and paints. Chief executive Paweł Kisiel said the location near the A4 motorway and Via Carpatia gives the group access to Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Atlas estimates the existing infrastructure could support around PLN 500 million in annual revenue. The group is also considering further acquisitions in Poland and abroad as it expands capacity and exports.
