Galeria Rumia, a shopping center located in the heart of the city of Rumia with a population of nearly 50,000 (Pomeranian Voivodeship), is undergoing a complete metamorphosis under the watchful eye of its new owner. The changes concern both the architecture of the facility and its functioning.
In mid-2021, GT became the new owner of the facility. This is another, after Park Handlowy Pszczyna and Galeria Tarnobrzeg, result of cooperation between the companies PKB Inwest Budownictwo and Master Development Poland. The management of the facility was entrusted to IMV Polska, and BOIG is responsible for re-commercialization.
Ownership changes are an excellent opportunity to develop the facility's format. As part of the modernization of Galeria Rumia, an architectural facelift has begun, which includes, among others, a new façade, modernization and refreshment of the interior, new visual identification, and adapting of the space of the facility to the current needs of tenants and customers.
"Introducing changes in the visual aspect, as well as in terms of the offer and the functioning itself, is necessary. We strive to make the Gallery a place that is even more customer-friendly than it is today, to be equated with comfortable shopping and pleasant leisure time. The picturesque surroundings of the Tricity Park Landscape, proximity to the Tri-City agglomeration, and excellent communication – are the advantages that make Rumia an attractive center for residents and entrepreneurs. As the owner, we see the city's great investment opportunities. Therefore, we are improving Galeria Rumia so that it fits in the development of the city," Leszek Dąbrowski, president of Master Development Poland, said.
