BIG Poland has officially opened BIG Dzierżoniów, a newly built retail park with 17,000 sqm GLA, located in the city centre at Batalionów Chłopskich Street. The investment became the company’s 11th retail park in Poland and opened its doors on 21 May. The project was developed by Redkom Development.

The new retail park has been developed in a central part of Dzierżoniów, on Batalionów Chłopskich Street, close to the Silesian roundabout. Its location provides easy access for customers travelling both from within the city and from neighbouring areas, including along DW384, the route connecting Dzierżoniów and Bielawa. With nearly 17,000 sqm GLA, BIG Dzierżoniów strengthens the city’s everyday retail offer and serves a wider regional customer base.

The opening of BIG Dzierżoniów comes in the same month as BIG Poland’s acquisition of a retail park in Kielce, adding a further 37,000 sqm GLA to the company’s Polish portfolio. Together, the newly opened development in Dzierżoniów and the acquired asset in Kielce increase BIG Poland’s portfolio by approximately 54,000 sqm GLA, underlining the company’s continued growth and long-term commitment to the Polish retail park market. BIG Dzierżoniów comprises more than 30 stores across fashion, home & lifestyle, services and food & beverage, with around 500 car parking spaces available to customers. The retail park serves a catchment area of approximately 115,000 residents in Dzierżoniów and the surrounding municipalities.

Tenants at BIG Dzierżoniów include: Lidl, Pepco, Rossmann, Ochnik, CCC, Half Price, Worldbox, New Yorker, Reserved, Cropp, House, e-obuwie, Douglas, Apart, Diverse, Sinsay, Martes Sport, BIG Star, RTV Euro AGD, Dr Materac and TUI Travel.

"BIG Dzierżoniów is an investment we believe in for the long term, a newly built retail park in the city centre, with a strong and diversified tenant mix and a catchment of nearly 115,000 residents. From day one, the scheme gives local residents access to more than 30 leading retail brands. The grand opening on 21 May marks a symbolic beginning, three days of free attractions for families that illustrates how we approach retail park management: with an active, year-round events calendar and a genuine commitment to the local community. This opening also comes in a very active month for BIG Poland, following our acquisition of a 37,000 sqm retail park in Kielce. Together, these two projects increase our portfolio by approximately 51,000 sqm GLA and clearly demonstrate the pace at which we are growing in Poland. At BIG Poland, we consistently focus on building long-term relationships with our tenants and creating destinations that remain vibrant, not just on opening day," said Eran Levy, CEO of BIG Poland.

BIG Poland has been actively operating in the Polish market since 2022 and currently holds a portfolio of 10 fully commercialised retail parks located in Łubna near Warsaw, Lubin, Andrychów, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Ostróda, Włocławek, Myszków, Olsztyn, Suwałki and Koszalin. BIG Dzierżoniów, a 17,000 sq m GLA scheme opening on 21 May, will become the 11th retail park in the portfolio, with Power Park Kielce to follow as the 12th. Upon completion of both transactions, the company's total portfolio GLA will reach nearly 247,000 sq m. In addition, BIG Poland has three development projects in the pipeline, located in Piła, Olkusz and Konstantynów Łódzki.

BIG Poland’s goal is to create vibrant and attractive shopping environments that not only cater to the diverse needs of local communities but also serve as a magnet for leading brands. The company envisions shopping spaces that are thoughtfully designed to enhance the customer experience, offering a blend of convenience, style, and community engagement.

In 2025 and 2026, BIG Poland’s dynamic growth and high-quality developments were recognised with prestigious industry awards. The company received the Investor of the Year title at the CEE Retail Awards 2026, while BIG Gorzów was named Retail Development of the Year, CEE at the Eurobuild CEE Awards 2025, confirming the strength of BIG Poland’s platform across the region.
