Budimex consortium’s tender offer of PLN 1 bln to be reassessed
Budimex said PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe will reexamine and reassess bids in the tender for designing and carrying out works on railway line C-E 20 between Czachówek Wschodni and Pilawa, including a bridge over the Vistula. The move cancels the earlier selection announced on December 5, 2025, when the contracting authority chose a consortium led by Budimex with Budimex Kolejnictwo and Mostostal Kraków. The consortium submitted a bid worth PLN 1.094 bln net, or PLN 1.346 bln gross, with a planned execution period of 48 months after contract signing.
The cancellation follows a ruling by the National Appeals Chamber that upheld an appeal from another bidder. PKP PLK must now restore and reassess the lowest bid from the Trakcja, Intop and WKS Grybów consortium worth PLN 1.28 bln gross. Budimex shares are up 3% this year and 4.5% y/y.
