BYD aims to at least double its car sales in Poland in 2026, potentially approaching 15,000 registrations versus 6,853 vehicles sold in 2025, when it became the leader in electrified vehicles. Roughly half of last year’s sales were fully electric models, placing BYD second in Poland’s BEV segment behind Tesla. This year, growth is expected to be driven mainly by plug-in hybrids, especially BYD’s DM-i “super hybrid” models, as the BEV market may slow following the end of subsidy programs.

The company also sees a strong chance of becoming Poland’s top BEV brand by the end of 2026.
