Friday’s session on the Warsaw Stock Exchange was marked by clear weakness among most companies in the WIG20 index.

Modivo recorded the steepest decline, with its shares falling 7.78% to PLN 91.50. Other major losers included Orlen (-2.38%), Grupa Kęty (-1.62%), Pekao (-1.56%), Tauron (-1.56%) and mBank (-1.50%).

Selling pressure also affected Budimex (-1.03%), Erste Bank Polska (-0.68%), PKO BP (-0.60%), PGE (-0.46%), Alior Bank (-0.44%), Kruk (-0.28%) and PZU (-0.22%).

Against the weak market backdrop, CD Projekt stood out positively, with its shares rising 3.06% to PLN 256.10, making it the best-performing company among the largest stocks listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. 

Dino Polska (+1.28%), LPP (+1.18%), Żabka Group (+0.61%) and KGHM (+0.60%) also posted solid gains. Allegro (+0.29%) and Pepco Group (+0.02%) ended the session slightly higher as well.
