Company that buys Warsaw tenement houses recovers well-known MP
A court bailiff, acting at the request of Jowisz, a company from Fenix Group, has seized MP Przemysław Wipler’s shares in two companies: gaming firm Play of Battle and renewable energy company Figene Group. The move is part of a legal dispute over a lease agreement for several units at 6A Nowogrodzka Street in Warsaw, which included an option to buy the properties. Wipler argues that the lease remains valid and has challenged the enforcement proceedings, claiming there were no grounds for them. Jowisz reportedly disputes the agreement, including its form.
The case is linked to Fenix Group, known for buying reprivatized Warsaw properties, including buildings involved in past reprivatization controversies.
