Courier market may grow to 1.1bn packages in 2025 – report
The courier market may grow to 1.1 billion parcels in 2025, the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) said in its Postal Market report.
The UKE predicts the market will reach 1 billion parcels in 2023 and 1.05 billion in 2024.
The UKE report shows that in 2022, the courier mail segment increased its revenue by almost PLN 1.4 billion compared to 2021 to PLN 9.6 billion, achieving a 17% growth rate, and the volume of delivered mail increased by 118 million pieces compared to 2021 (up 15.2%), reaching a figure of 894 million pieces.
The UKE reported that courier deliveries accounted for 66.8% of the value of the postal market in 2022 and 45.8% of total postal services.
