Creotech buys land for satellite factory
Creotech Instruments has signed a preliminary agreement to buy two undeveloped plots in the Mazowieckie region for PLN 20.1 million, where it plans to build a new production facility. The space technology company said the acquisition supports its 2026–2029 development strategy, which calls for expanding manufacturing capacity and increasing technological independence. No construction timetable or projected investment cost has yet been disclosed.
Creotech plans to raise satellite production capacity from about 10 units to more than 40. When announcing its strategy in May, the company said 40–60 percent of proceeds from a planned share issue would be allocated to production infrastructure. Creotech also completed an expansion of its existing facilities in the second half of May, but those operations remain in leased premises. The new site would give the company owned capacity as it scales satellite, satellite-system and component production.
