Czech-based insurance and risk management leader Renomia continues its expansion in Poland, acquiring broker Modus, a specialist in corporate and agricultural insurance. This move strengthens Renomia’s position in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Founded in 1993, Renomia entered the Polish market in 2022 by acquiring a majority stake in Alfa Brokers. Modus, co-founded by Rafał Trębski, will retain its name and management, leveraging Renomia’s regional and global reach.

Renomia, partly owned by U.S.-based Gallagher, operates in 13 European countries and serves over 70,000 corporate clients through its extensive network. With double-digit growth in 2023 and further investments planned, Renomia is poised for continued expansion in the competitive Polish brokerage market.
