Energa Group to focus more firmly on RES

The Energa Group wants to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector. Energa Wytwarzanie will soon become Energa OZE (Polish acronym for RES) and will invest in innovative technologies for electricity production.
“We have a strong position in the area of renewable energy in Poland and we want to strengthen it even further. This will be reflected by our changing the name of one of our key companies,” acting president Grzegorz Ksepko emphasized.
Electricity from renewable energy sources accounts for over 30 percent of the group’s production mix. The Energa Group owns 46 hydropower plants, five wind farms and two solar farms. They generate a total of 444 MW of power.
