Electric Energy production in July came in at 12,704 GWh, marking a 7.73 percent decrease y/y, national grid operator PSE stated. In the January-July period, 93,141 GWh of electric Energy was generated, which translates into a 2.0 percent drop y/y.
In July, Energy consumption stood at 13,706 GWh, which is 1.44 percent less than in the corresponding month of last year. For the first seven months of 2019, Energy consumption fell by 0.29 percent y/y to a total of 98,734 GWh.
