Energy will be an important topic at European Economic Congress
The European Economic Congress 2026, held on April 22–24 in Katowice, will focus strongly on energy, highlighting energy transition as both a necessity and a driver of economic growth.
The event brings together business leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss key challenges such as energy security, EU climate goals, and the future of energy systems, including renewables, nuclear, storage, and digitalization. A major theme will be balancing ambitious EU targets with national economic capabilities.
Discussions will also cover energy costs, industrial competitiveness, and the role of large-scale investments and innovation. Overall, the transition is seen as a strategic opportunity to strengthen Europe’s and Poland’s economic position.
