Eurocash launches major overhaul
Eurocash has unveiled a sweeping 2026–2027 strategy that triggers the largest restructuring in its history. The plan centers on transforming the Group into a fully integrated franchise organization under its “Network of People from Here” program, with a sharp pullback from operating its own Delikatesy Centrum stores.
Around 150 Delikatesy Centrum locations will close, and the workforce will shrink by about 3,000 positions, including 1,000 office roles, as Eurocash streamlines operations and cuts costs. The company expects the overhaul to deliver PLN 400 million in cumulative EBIT savings by 2027 and lift EBIT to PLN 600 million.
To execute the shift, Eurocash will book PLN 200–300 million in write-offs and provisions in 2025, weighing on that year’s EBITDA. The strategy also prioritizes developing its franchise network, boosting like-for-like sales, reshaping the Duży Ben chain, and scaling Frisco.pl.
