Eurowind Energy begins work on 80 MW wind farm in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship
Eurowind Energy has begun work on a new wind farm project in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The planned wind park in Mały Mędromierz will include 13 turbines with a combined capacity of about 80 MW.
The project is currently in the planning stage. In January, the Tuchola council approved the start of work on a local spatial development plan, and public consultations with residents were held in February. Once completed, the wind farm could supply electricity to roughly 52,000 households annually. The municipality may receive about PLN 2.8 million per year in tax revenues from the project. Eurowind Energy operates 1,305 MW of renewable assets in Europe and has about 6 GW of projects under development in Poland.
