EV drivers counting every zloty, careful when charging
Electric cars are no longer used only for short trips, according to a study by Elocity based on over 1300 users. One in three drivers travels more than 300 km at least once a month, and over 50% use EVs for weekend and holiday trips, showing a maturing market.
EVs are now part of daily mobility: 76% use them for commuting and 81% for everyday tasks. Most users are men living in large cities, and in 62% of cases EVs are not the only car in the household.
Charging is mainly done at home (53%), though fast public chargers are also popular. Price, location, and speed drive decisions, while mobile apps dominate payments and usage, shaping the future of electromobility.
