Fuel surcharge rate soars by 12.3% for '20
Minister of Infrastructure increased the fuel surcharge rate for 2020 for gasoline by 12.3 percent. The changes shall apply from March 1, 2020.
According to the announcement published in the Monitor, this year the fee will be PLN 155.49 for 1000 liters of motor gasoline and products resulting from its mixing with bio components against PLN 138.49 from the previous announcement published in November.
The fee for diesel fuels, products resulting from the mixing of these oils with biocomponents and bio components constituting intrinsic fuels will amount to PLN 323.34 per 1000 liters of diesel oil compared to PLN 306.34 in the November version.
For gases, the fee will increase to PLN 187.55 per 1000 kg against PLN 170.55 in the November version.
The ministry reassured that the increase in fuel surcharge rates applies only to 2020 and is neutral for fuel prices due to the simultaneous reduction of excise duty rates in the same period. Therefore, this change has no effect on fuel and driver prices.
