Opal Centers has acquired Galeria Pestka in Poznań from Henley IM. The nearly fully leased shopping center offers about 41,700 sq m of GLA across 60 units and attracted 5.1 mln visitors last year.

Located in northern Poznań, the center is anchored by Carrefour, MediaMarkt and Bricomarché and also includes discount retailers, a trampoline park and a recently renovated food court. Henley IM said footfall has risen significantly over the past three years, exceeding pre-pandemic levels, partly due to reduced retail competition in the city.

Opal Centers said the asset fits its strategy of acquiring stable retail properties in established locations. According to Avison Young, retail accounted for 34% of Poland’s total commercial real estate investment volume in H1 2026.
