Germany’s RWE Group has applied for a site to build an offshore wind farm with a capacity of up to 1.5 GW, located some 75 kilometers off the coastline, at the level of the Polish town of Ustka, the company said.

RWE wants to participate in the Polish government's offshore wind energy program.

RWE operates in markets such as the UK, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden. It runs offshore farms across Europe, including on the Danish and German coasts of the Baltic Sea.
