Global leader in cyber security enters Polish market
Netskope plans to launch a data center in Warsaw at the beginning of 2023. This will be the first investment of its kind in this part of Europe. At the same time, the company has created a new position in Poland as regional director responsible for sales in the country and Central and Eastern Europe. Michał Borowiecki has been appointed to this position.
Netskope is an American company, a global leader in cyber security, which provides customers worldwide with a unified security platform SASE (Secure Access Service Edge). Its task is to protect data and users regardless of the type of application used, location, and device from which this access takes place.
"Our research shows that employees in a medium-sized enterprise use more than 2,400 cloud applications. 95 percent of such solutions are unmanaged by IT teams and outside the control of the organization concerned. Such applications are in a grey area, which we refer to as 'shadow'. These figures show the scale of the phenomenon and the challenge companies face as they work to secure their data," Xavier Duyck, Netskope's Vice President of Sales for Northern and Eastern Europe and the DACH region, said.
