This week, the government will present a proposal on the minimum wage for 2020, Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy, informed.
In 2019, the minimum wage will amount to PLN 2,250, which is 47.2 percent of projected average wage in the national economy.
Employers' organizations propose an increase in the minimum wage in 2020 by 6.1 percent up to PLN 2,387. In addition, organizations propose an increase in wages in the state budget sector at a level not higher than 6.1 percent.
