GPW Group in talks with ETF providers, including Polish institutions

The Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) is intensifying talks with multiple ETF providers and hopes that Polish financial institutions will soon join the market as issuers, said CEO Tomasz Bardziłowski. He emphasized the importance of domestic participation and expects locally issued ETFs to appear within the coming quarters. Recently, GPW saw the debut of BETA ETF Dywidenda Plus, with plans for further ETFs linked to Bitcoin and mWIG40, as well as the announcement of HANetf Future of Defense.
GPW Group operates platforms for trading equities, government and corporate bonds, derivatives, electricity, and gas, while also supplying indices and benchmarks such as WIBID and WIBOR. Since 2010, GPW itself has been listed on its exchange.
