Poland is developing in the direction of CEE digital valley and desperately seeks IT specialists of different profiles. In such circumstances developing candidates’ motivation is a big challenge for a new potential employer. What attracts the candidates’ interest in a job offer is first of all interesting and technologically advanced projects and secondly but also crucially important is a proper level of financial conditions. Actually, in the Polish culture of still hidden info concerning remuneration, this is the only sector where salary level appears as a piece of open information in recruitment ads or during the first phone contact from recruiters. Also, the possibility of fully remote work and of cooperation on the basis of b2b is expected by the majority of the candidates. Poland, after China and Russia, is the third biggest pool of developers – over 400 000 developers, and the biggest one when it comes to Java.

“Having contact with the candidates from different countries we are noticing many similarities, starting from the technical experience, expectations to employer and own career as well as attitude to team co-operation or communication style,” Joanna Dulniak – Managing Partner of TARGET Executive Search, said.

Cultural differences are not a problem in adaptation and to make an effective working team.
