Ice Code Games Becomes Poland’s First Public Bitcoin Treasury Company

Ice Code Games, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has announced plans to become Poland’s first publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company. The move marks a strategic shift in capital allocation, positioning Bitcoin as a long-term store of value and hedge against inflation.
ICG will raise PLN 4.25 million through a directed share issue, with most funds used to accumulate Bitcoin. Its second-largest shareholder will convert PLN 1.6 million in loans into equity at PLN 0.11 per share. The initiative aligns ICG with global pioneers like MicroStrategy, aiming to enhance balance sheet strength and attract tech-focused investors.
CEO Mateusz Pilski highlighted the expertise of strategic partners and emphasized the opportunity to offer retail investors regulated exposure to Bitcoin via equity markets, addressing barriers like technical complexity or regulatory risk.
ICG’s core gaming operations remain unchanged, while the new Bitcoin-focused division signals a bold step into digital finance.
