Unfortunately, according to GitHub, which provides cumulative Covid-19 vaccination doses administered per 100 people, Poland ranks only 14th in Europe with a score of 0.53. Denmark (1.98), UK (1.94), and Iceland (1.43) lead in this ranking. The world leader is Israel with 20.61 percent of vaccinations.
According to the daily report posted on Friday on Twitter by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, 188,956 vaccinations against Covid-19 have been carried out in Poland so far.
.Vaccinations in Poland are carried out in stages according to the groups described in the national program. They started on December 27. Currently, people from the zero group are vaccinated, which include, among others, healthcare workers and parents of premature babies.
From January 25, vaccinations of people qualified for the first group will start. It includes seniors over 60 years of age (vaccination will take place from the oldest people), residents of social welfare homes and care and treatment, nursing and care facilities and other places of stationary residence, uniformed services, and teachers.
