Epione is transforming a former railway clinic in Katowice into a large office and hotel complex called Iaso, after city planning changes blocked its original medical use. The project, worth about PLN 300 million, will offer nearly 9,600 square meters of space and two hotels, with completion planned for 2027.

Initially intended as a flagship medical facility, the investment shifted toward real estate as part of a diversification strategy to stabilize revenues beyond public healthcare contracts. The complex will include offices and hotels operated under an international brand.

The project is long-term, with expected returns in about 15 years, and also aims to support business succession while expanding Epione’s activities beyond healthcare.
