Investment in Kostrzyn-Słubica Special Economic Zone attracting billions
The Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone recorded its best-ever first half, with investors declaring PLN 2.1 bln in capital spending, three times the PLN 701 mln recorded a year earlier. The number of investment decisions rose from 19 to 33, while planned projects are expected to create nearly 300 jobs. Major investments include Alter GPU Center’s PLN 460 mln AI data center, Sunday Natural’s PLN 340 mln facility, and Capri Sun’s PLN 273 mln plant. Domestic companies account for 73% of projects.
The zone could post an even stronger full-year result, as a non-European investor is considering a multibillion-dollar project. Western Poland is benefiting from strong infrastructure, proximity to Germany, competitive costs, and available industrial land.
