Jacek Kurski to become minister of digitization
Jacek Kurski is to become minister of digitization. He is expected to enter the government later in the fall.
Radio ZET reports on the new function of the former head of TVP and the reactivation of the Ministry of Digitization. It was initially rumored that Jacek Kurski was to replace Piotr Glinski as Minister of Culture. However, Radio ZET reports that Gliński does not want to leave the government.
The National Media Council dismissed Jacek Kurski from the post of TVP president in early September. In his place, it appointed Mateusz Matyszkowicz.
"I confirm that as a result of the decision of my political environment, in agreement with me, I have ceased to be President of TVP. I know that further challenges lie ahead of me," Kurski wrote on Twitter at the time.
