Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) plans to extract 15.5 million tons of coal in 2019, said CEO Włodzimierz Hereźniak, confirming the previous outlook. Earlier, JSW's management board said it expects coal output to increase by several percents this year compared to 15 million tons produced in 2018.
In the first half of 2019, JSW coal production declined by 11.4 percent y/y to 7 million tonnes, while coking coal output fell by 8 percent y/y to 1.7 million tons.
