If PiS wants to hold a pseudo-election during a pandemic by postal service on May 10, I will not participate in such games as a citizen or as a candidate, assured Civic Coalition’s (KO) presidential wannabe Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on Friday.
"I have always said that I want to run in the election, but it must be safe for Poles and it must be real,” she stressed.
She emphasized that she supported the idea of postal voting
"I agree to election by postal voting, but only if conducted and under the control of the National Election Commission (NEC). For now, what is proposed is not an election," she added.
On April 6, the Sejm passed a bill by PiS, according to which the presidential election in 2020 is to be conducted only by postal vote. The Senate is to deal with it at its meeting on May 5 and 6.
