Lawyerd! scales into Polish and European markets

Intellectual property protection on the Internet is becoming the top trend nowadays. Under the Global Anti-Piracy report product companies lose 15-30 percent of annual income because of intellectual property infringing. Companies try to fully protect their products but do not want to spend bulk budgets on lawyers` services. This is why accelerators boost tech companies in the IP protection field.
One of these companies is Lawyerd!, a Ukrainian legal startup that provides services for the automatic protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet. The startup was founded in February 2021 by two co-founders: Ihor Makushinsky and Ihor Khludov. They were selected for the Techstars Torino 2022 batch.
Techstars is an operational investor that supports startups on their way from coming up with ideas to building the most successful business. The program was created and is run by entrepreneurs who understand the complexities of bringing ideas to life and scaling them up.
“Lawyerd! began scaling into European markets and was supported by the Concordia Design Accelerator to scale into the Polish market, resulting in building a number of strategic partnerships for the company and giving the ability to actively work in a new market. Participation in the Techstars accelerator program will allow Lawyerd! to actively scale in the European market and attract new sources of funding in a new round,” Lawyerd! CEO Igor Makushinsky said.
