PwC Legal in Poland has once again been distinguished in the prestigious Chambers Europe ranking. In the latest edition of the ranking, two lawyers from the law firm won individual awards: Gerard Karp – in the TMT category: Data Protection and Jean Rossi – for legal advice in the area of real estate.
The annual ranking created by experts from the prestigious Chambers and Partners publishing house is based on a detailed study of law firms and interviews with clients. Factors such as the quality of services provided, the number of completed projects, or timeliness are taken into account. The ranking is one of the most important publications on the law market.
Gerard Karp is a partner and leader of the TMT practice, intellectual property law, and personal data protection at PwC Legal. He specializes in the law of new technologies, in particular the protection of personal data, the right to privacy, and various aspects at the interface between internet law, IT implementations, and the broadly understood digital market. He has many years of experience in advising clients from the new technologies, e-commerce, commercial, banking, insurance, and pharmaceutical sectors. He advised, inter alia, for innovative Big Data projects in the logistics, commercial, and banking industries.
Jean Rossi is a real estate practice leader at PwC Legal. Additionally, he is also responsible for the French Desk at PwC. He advises clients on real estate acquisitions and real estate project financing. He actively participates in the life of the French community in Poland. He is, inter alia, president of the Union des Français de l'Étranger and Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France.
