Lidl Polska has signed the Diversity Charter, an initiative of the Responsible Business Forum under the auspices of the European Commission. It commits employers from sectors such as business, NGOs, public administration, local authorities, and the academic world, to share good practices in equal treatment policies and diversity management. As a signatory of the Diversity Charter, Lidl Polska will participate in the Diversity IN Check. It is a tool to diagnose the maturity of employers in managing diversity and building inclusive organizations.

The company currently employs over 25,000 people in Poland, and all employees receive the same salary for the same positions.

In addition to its gender pay equality policy, the company is committed to initiatives that support and empower women. At the moment women make up 70% of middle managers and shop managers in the company.
