Poland’s Ombudsman for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises asked the finance and economy minister to include LPG, or autogas, in the government’s fuel-price support package. The request reflects concerns from LPG-sector organisations and companies that use autogas vehicles in daily operations. The issue is niche but commercially relevant: Poland has one of Europe’s larger LPG vehicle markets, and many smaller firms rely on lower running costs. Excluding LPG from relief measures could create uneven treatment between fuel types and add cost pressure for transport-heavy SMEs. Date verified: 19 May 2026.
