Magdalena Kotlarczyk has assumed the position of director of the Polish branch of Google, the company has announced. Kotlarczyk was until now head of sales at Google Poland.

“Last year significantly accelerated the digital revolution. More consumers have gone online, many people have used digital services for the first time. Therefore, this is a huge opportunity for our economy. Many Polish companies and brands are already conquering not only the domestic market but also winning customers around the world, using the latest solutions provided by the Internet. Our goal is for there to be as many such Polish companies as possible, for them to grow even faster and for them to have a good partner for development in Google”, Kotlarczyk said, as quoted in the press release.

Magdalena Kotlarczyk joined Google in 2011, from 2017 she was the head of the Polish sales department. She started her career at Procter & Gamble, where she held a number of positions in the company’s European offices. Working in London, Geneva, and Warsaw, she was responsible, among others, for the marketing of products from the health and hygiene segment, and then led the digital marketing department in the Central Europe region.

Until now, the position of head of the Polish branch of Google was held temporarily by Artur Waliszewski, who combined this role with the position of business director of Google for the whole region of Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, the director of Google Poland was Agnieszka Hryniewicz-Bieniek, who has been the global director of Google for Startups since July 2019.
