Min of Sports and Tourism: MICE market worth billions in Poland
The MICE sector, covering meetings, incentives, conferences, and events, is becoming a key growth area for Poland’s economy, contributing about 1% of GDP, according to Deputy Minister Ireneusz Ras. Poland is increasingly attracting major international events thanks to modern infrastructure, competitive costs, and a strong reputation as a safe destination.
Hotels play a central role by providing accommodation, conference facilities, and technological support, especially in cities like Warsaw, Krakow, and Gdansk.
Further growth will require continued investment in hotels, transport, and promotion. The government is analyzing support measures for the sector, aiming to strengthen Poland’s position in the global events market and boost economic impact.
