MIPIM 2027 will mark a new chapter for the global urban festival as it expands across Cannes, introducing new official destinations alongside its established home at the Palais des Festivals. From data centers to tech and AI, new stages and forums throughout Cannes will be fully integrated into the MIPIM program, reflecting the investment themes shaping tomorrow’s market.

The expanded footprint will include a dedicated Tech & AI Hub at the Gray d’Albion Hotel, a new Luxury Living & Branded Residences destination at the JW Marriott Beach, and new premium Hospitality Suites at the Majestic Hotel and the Carlton Hotel, among others. Each destination will bring together exhibition space, content, networking, and events in venues reserved for registered MIPIM delegates. Together, they will create new opportunities for participants to connect with the communities shaping investment across a wider range of real estate sectors, from technology innovators and venture capital investors to family offices, luxury brands, and private capital.

A program shaped by changing investment priorities

Shaped by client feedback and evolving market trends, the 2027 program focuses on the investment priorities transforming real estate. The new Resilience Stage will build on the Road to Zero program, extending the discussion beyond decarbonization to climate risk, geopolitical risk, and other pressures facing owners and cities.

MIPIM will also sharpen its coverage of sectors that have evolved from niche interests into mainstream investment priorities. The Data Centers Summit will take place on Thursday morning, bringing industry participants together for a focused discussion on designing, building, and financing AI-ready infrastructure. A Defense track, incorporated into the logistics and industrial summit and the CEE and Nordics programming, will explore the growing need for adaptable, resilient, and multipurpose real estate.

The Geostrategies Stage will focus on major investment markets, including Germany, the Nordics, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Housing takes center stage

Reflecting the increasing role of residential real estate in global investment strategies, Housing Matters, MIPIM’s dedicated forum for discussing the future of residential investment, will be fully integrated into MIPIM’s core program and move to Tuesday morning at the heart of the event. Bringing together investors, developers, public officials, urban experts, and associations, the forum will address one of the most urgent questions facing cities worldwide: how to deliver more homes quickly while meeting demands for affordability, sustainability, and resilience.

MIPIM 2027 will also continue to host a series of invitation-only summits bringing together major investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and political leaders. These include RE-Family, RE-Invest, the Political Leaders Summit, and Forum des Élus for French city leaders, reinforcing MIPIM’s role as a meeting point for both capital and policymakers.

Helping attendees make the most of MIPIM

MIPIM 2027 will introduce a series of new services and access options designed to address different client needs and help delegates make better use of their time in Cannes. The Full Pass will remain the standard option for the complete four-day MIPIM experience, alongside a new One Day Pass and an enhanced Premium Pass, which will include a networking concierge service to help delegates organize relevant meetings.

Supporting these changes, a new networking platform will use AI-powered recommendations, simplified search, and meeting scheduling to help participants identify relevant people and companies before arriving in Cannes. A redesigned mobile app will provide an improved user experience throughout the event.

For exhibitors, the Lead Manager service will complement the new networking platform by helping teams capture and qualify contacts generated at MIPIM. Together, these tools are designed to support the full business process, from identifying relevant contacts and arranging meetings to capturing leads and following up after the event.
