There are at least 60,000 sqm of office space available as a sublease formula in the five largest regional markets in Poland. The most sublease offices are available in Warsaw (24,142 sqm), of which almost 40 percent in A-class buildings in the city center.
The available space in the sublease represents only 2.5 percent of the total area available in Warsaw (1.01 million sqm). In the remaining cities, the most sublease space is available in Wrocław (14,148 sqm), Łódź (8,019 sqm) and Kraków (7,482 sqm).
"We have been observing the office market very closely in recent months. Some companies are already striving to obtain more flexible lease terms, allowing them to adjust the size of the space occupied on an ongoing basis to their current needs. Some of them are already considering subletting the currently used space. Our analysts have noticed increased traffic regarding this specific area, which in recent times of rapid market movements has gained a special significance," Piotr Smagała, managing director of REDD, said.
