More than 900,000 unemployed recorded in Ministry of Labor estimates
Poland’s registered unemployment rate rose slightly to 5.9% in July from 5.8% in June, according to estimates from the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy. At the end of the month, 907,300 unemployed people were registered with labor offices, up 5,800, or 0.6%, from June and 76,500, or 9.2%, from July 2025. Unemployment varied significantly across the country. The highest rates were recorded in Szydłowiec County at 22.8%, Brzozów County at 19.3% and Przysucha County at 18.4%.
The lowest levels were reported in Poznań County at 1.4%, and in both the city of Poznań and Warsaw at 1.6%.
