As many as 42 percent of respondents declared at least a two-day holiday or tourist trip this summer; 80 percent planning a summer trip with at least one overnight stay, takes into account holidays only in Poland, according to the latest CBOS survey.
"It is worth recalling that at the beginning of 2020, almost two-thirds (64 percent) of adult Poles declared that this year they intend to go for leisure or tourist purposes for at least 2 days. Thus, the percentage of respondents declaring their intention to go on such trip was at the beginning of this the same as in the previous year and for the second time the highest of those recorded since 2013. It can be assumed that the majority of these trips were planned for the summer period,” the report reads.
Younger respondents usually plan tourist or leisure trips with at least one overnight stay, while the majority (70 percent) are those who do not intend to leave this year.
