The Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA) has finished work on a draft of its “Migration Policy of Poland” document and is about to submit it for consultations, Rzeczpospolita daily has reported. According to the newspaper, the government intends to favor a policy of the short-term employment of foreigners coming from countries that are culturally similar to Poland. The ministry also hopes that of some of the Poles living in former Soviet republics, as well as some of the Poles who have emigrated to Western European countries will return to Poland.
