The Supervisory Board of Polish Airlines LOT has appointed Michał Fijoł as the new CEO, filling the position left vacant since December 2022. Fijoł, who previously served as a member of the management board, brings years of experience in commercial affairs. Market expert Adrian Furgalski believes Fijoł's appointment signifies a non-confrontational approach to stakeholder discussions and emphasizes his responsibility for revenue recovery. LOT's strong performance in 2022, with 8 million passengers and projected profits of over PLN 100 million, instills confidence in its future.
