The first half of 2026 brought a wave of hotel openings in Poland, led by the high-profile debut of the five-star Hotel Gołębiewski in Pobierowo, with 1,200 rooms. Other new projects opened in Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Koszalin, Olsztyn, Szczawnica and Zator, showing that investors are targeting both major cities and regional markets. According to Emmerson Evaluation, investment activity in the hotel sector is also rising, with strong demand for properties operating under international brands, including in smaller cities.

Recent deals included Four Points by Sheraton Warsaw, B&B hotels in Wrocław and Katowice, and Hampton by Hilton Kalisz. Modernisation, repositioning and rebranding of existing hotels are becoming key trends alongside new development.
