There is a lack of some data in the electronic layer of new ID cards. However, the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) will not exchange them. Instead, the ministry wants to adapt the regulations to the incomplete documents.
In over 700,000 newly produced ID's the electronic layer does not have names of parents and family names imprinted. MSWiA, which is responsible for the personalization of identity cards, ensures, though, that this does not invalidate the documents and calls the mistake a "formal and technical inaccuracy."
