Nine-story office building to be built in Gdańsk near Baltic Hub terminal
The Port of Gdańsk plans to build a new Integrated Border Control Point near the Baltic Hub terminal, with construction expected to begin in the first quarter of 2029. The complex will include a nine-story office building and a three-story inspection hall with rooftop parking for 230 cars. It will bring several state inspection services under one roof, improving customs and border procedures for growing cargo volumes entering the EU through the port.
About 235 employees are expected to work there per shift. The site is already prepared, while design and permitting work is due to be completed by September 2028. Documentation will cost PLN 3.5 mln, while construction and equipment are estimated at PLN 163 mln.
