ORLEN and WOT sign agreement to strengthen security of critical infrastructure
ORLEN has signed an agreement with the Polish Territorial Defence Forces to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure and improve operational readiness. The partnership focuses on joint training, knowledge exchange, and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing security capabilities.
The cooperation will prepare ORLEN employees and military personnel to operate together in crisis scenarios, including exercises conducted at the company’s facilities under real-world conditions. It also includes military training opportunities for employees and recruitment support for the armed forces.
The initiative reflects a broader effort to build national resilience by integrating the capabilities of the defense sector and a key energy provider, while also raising public awareness of security and emergency preparedness.
