Orlen will gain access to more than 30 mln barrels of oil on Norwegian shelf
Orlen will gain access to more than 30 million barrels of oil and 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas on the Norwegian shelf, Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek said on Twitter.
Norway’s Parliament has approved a plan to develop the Yggdrasil area, in which Orlen Group owns about 13% stake, the company said on Twitter.
"The implementation of the project will give Orlen Group access to more than 30 million barrels of oil and 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas and strengthen our position among the largest producers in the region. The Norwegian shelf is a strategic area for the development of our production," Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek wrote on Twitter.
